| Tara XDM Series
is made with Damascus Steel, an ancient method of combining
hard and softer steels resolving issues that maintain long edge life and
smooth cutting ability. An added benefit is the individual and unique design
each scissor has as a result of the many folds of steel.
XDM is a medium weight scissor that feels firm and balanced
because of the ergonomic handle with a
special designed "catapult" thumb ring. This well balanced & weighted thumb
ring acts as a counter weight that allows the closing of the blades to be a
commanding force when cutting dense, coarse, or dry hair. The
XO Series and
XR Series also has this extraordinary thumb
ring.
A "K" feature (bow on center of the blade) on both blades
creates a strong glide that resist the forward movement or pushing of the
hair while cutting. This added strength gives you the extended use of the
entire length of the blades. Superior performance is obvious on one length
cuts, scissor over comb, and dry cutting.
