| Tara XR Series
is a medium weight scissor that feels firm and balanced
because of the ergonomic handle with a
special designed "catapult" thumb ring. This well balanced & weighted thumb
ring acts as a counter weight that allows the closing of the blades to be a
commanding force when cutting dense, coarse, or dry hair. The
XO Series and
XDM Series also has this extraordinary thumb
ring. The XR
Series is identical to the XQ Series
with the exception of the "catapult" thumb design instead of the standard
anatomic thumb ring. XR is also slightly heavier in weight than the XQ.
A "K" feature (bow on center of the blade) on both blades
creates a strong glide that resist the forward movement or pushing of the
hair while cutting. This added strength gives you the extended use of the
entire length of the blades. Superior performance is obvious on one length
cuts, scissor over comb, and dry cutting.
Unlike the XP Series the Micro-slits that are recessed
into the convex edge extent the full length of the front blade.
Micro-slits stabilize the hair, holding the hair in its place allowing the
most precise cut line imaginable.
